Car died flat out when driving. Discovered the distributor was bad and I (personally) replaced it. (sounded slightly out of time, but I only use it for 4 miles one way, so left it)
Stalled about a week later. I replaced the rotor and distributor cap and put in new plugs. Still stalled. I had a leaky valve gasket for years, so I replaced it. Still stalls. Honda mechanic said it was the ignition switch; still stalls. The stalling has become more frequent and this thing is about ready to get pushed over a cliff. (Oh, I replaced the main relay 1.5 years ago.) I've yet to check the fuel pump and I have a fuel filter to put in, but that looks like a bear! Any other thoughts?

Reading sections A and B should help you solve your problem for good:

I bet if you replace the igniter and coil this morning, your car will run like new by this afternoon. Here's how to do it:

Afterwards, check the idle rpm and use a strobe light to set the timing:

If you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. Victory is within sight.
