Hi all, please help. My peaugeot 206 2001 1.4 nightmare of a car won't start, it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. Ive had new sparks, new injectors, everything lights up my lights don't dim when I try so not battery related. It bump starts within seconds but not always easy to bump start on own!! Or even with 2 children under 5 in car. I will never ever buy a peaugeot again EVER! Jenny x

. Remove and fully charge the battery. Most auto parts stores will do this for free.
. Clean the battery terminals and cable connections.
Since it push starts, the problem is with the battery, connections, or starter motor. My gut is you need a new battery.

Does the starter motor crank the engine with authority?
If not, clean the battery terminals and cable connections. Examine the cables for unseen corrosion and breaks. Clean the connections going to the starter motor.

If the problem persists, assess whether you think the problem is with the ignition switch. Have it checked for wear, pitting, or melting.
