I'm a 24 yr old full time college student. I did not earn more then 3500 within the year. Can I file my taxes and still be claimed as a depended on head of house hold taxes ?

Yes, you can.
You are under the Gross Income limit to be claimed ad a dependent, but wven if you were over yhe limit, you could still be claimed because you are a college student.

However, the policy where children added earned income to the parents' tax return went away decades ago.
The OP has NO LEGAL REQUIREMENT to file. However he CAN file to get any withheld income federal income tax back and simply NOT claim his personal exemption on that return.
That allows the parent to claim the student ad a dependent pn a HoH return irrespective of his age, provided the parent provided a home and over half of the student's total support.
