We really need a guy's perspective on this one?
Scenario;

Boy breaks up with girl, both in their 20's and the guy still wants to be seeing her when she's home as she works away for a few weeks at a time. When she's away he doesn't text, call or anything giving her a chance to move on which she is trying to do but then on social networking sites he likes and comments on every single thing she puts up? Is this his way of not letting her move on without having to actually communicate?

Need a guy's perspective here? Also he is in college but truly is not the kind of guy who is seeing other girls or anything like that.

Girl is letting guy keep her stuck and a back up plan for when she is home. Block all his access, or tell him you don't have time when you are home.

I agree with Tal (sorry, it won't let me throw a greenie at you Tal).

This guy is keeping you around just in case he needs a backup plan.

I also have to wonder about this because you weren't very clear... you said he still wants to see you when you're home. Does this mean you two go out? Do you have sex with him at this time? If the answer is yes, then not only is he keeping you for a backup plan but he is using you for sex as well.

Cut all contact with him. Block him on Facebook, block his number. You will never be able to move on if you keep playing his game.

' Is this his way of not letting her move on'
Her problem. She is using victim phrases. As long as he doesn't have a gun to her head, she's the one 'not letting her' self move on.
Both men and women do things like this to hang onto relationships after breaking up. It's not gender specific at all.

PS: I'm an old woman. I have plenty of perspective on both men and women.

I would say, esp if there is sex involved that this is now a friend with benefit, where he has no effort to put in but gets benefits when she is around
