What are dogs dreaming about when they are having nightmares?

Being neutered?

People that beat them.

Cats getting more attention from their owners.

Aliens invading earth?
The zombie apocalypse?
Too much hot sauce on their taco?

It could be anything.

We will likely never know but my guys appear to be chasing rabbits and deer. They do it when awake so why not when dreaming
