Can my joint sponsor use his tax returns for I 864 from the next-to-last year? 2012 tax returns aren't available yet! And I'd like to file my I-485 already now, don't want to wait till the end of February. Thanks

Joint sponsor uses form I-864A. If you submit your application before the end of 2012, then you can use tax return from 2009-2011.
