It will happen but not on any particular schedule. Some girls get it as early as 11 or 12, some not until they are 15 or 16 - depends on what schedule your body is on. Nobody, not even a doctor, can tell you when it will happen for you personally.

It will come when it does, what happened with your mom is not you, You just have to wait and it will come
