Lol, no I don't sleep walk, but its just too weird, I have set up a video camera but, it just shows it opening by itself

Closet door , depending what kind can open or close though vibration, not all that uncommom.
But if you have things flying off shelfs ( not merely falling but flying) if you have your motion detectors set off by nothing there.
If you wake up and the bed is 4 ft off the floor ( then you are sure)
Also normally some smells come along with sightings but not always.

OK, thanks a lot, I have been feeling kind of lightweight at night (as in the bed is off the floor)
Oh, and my closet door doesn't really hook up to the wall that good and my dog (pitbull) opens it by himself sometimes, but it showed that on camera, so I closed my bedroom door to keep him out, and it shows the closet opening by itself!

He said "your haunting my grave!!!" seriously, that's what he said, probably a graveyard under the house or something.
Actually, I don't know if he said haunting his grave, or disturbing his grave, lol, it kind of scared me so smuch, I can't really remember.

All of my advice on your spirit problem is based on facts that I've studied over the years. I've dedicated a lot of time to learning about the supernatural. I've read and watched a lot of things on this. Spirit's stay behind for a few reasons. Maybe it can't move on until he finishes whatever business it has. Or it's possbile that it's not a spirit of a person. Some beings come out of dark places because of evil witchcraft or ojui boards. People who play with magic and such. These being's are very evil and tend to let you know it. So if this spirit isn't hurting you or your family then have no worries. Treat it as a person. Ask what it meant by the satement it made. It's possible that your house was built on an old graveyard which is a very odd occurrence, but possible. In that case, it may open the door for more spirits and more evil one's. If you start to feel scared, then tell them to go away. Get some salt and put it around your house and pray for the restless spirits to find peace. If they get testy speak with a firm voice. BUT only do this if you feel unsafe, otherwise try to find out what it wants. Help it if possible. Other then that, if you experience problem's that endanger's you speak to a preist and ask them to pray over your house. To drive them out. Or have a pharanormal envestigatior check it out. So take what I say to heart. I wish you luck, keep me posted.

JoeCanada76

All at once? Or you just feel these as you walk around. Does not mean there is more then one. Cold spots are defiantly an indication of apparitions.
Did you try talking more and getting more information. The more the information the better.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPEN'S TO MANY PPL, IT HAPPEN'S TO ME SEVERAL TIME'S A YEAR.
The medical establishment is quite aware of this phenomenon, but has a less sensational name than "old hag syndrome" for it. They call it "sleep paralysis" or SP (sometimes ISP for "isolated sleep paralysis").
So what causes it? Dr. Max Hirshkowitz, director of the Sleep Disorders Center at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Houston, says that sleep paralysis occurs when the brain is in the transition state between deep, dreaming sleep (known as REM sleep for its rapid eye movement) and waking up. During REM dreaming sleep, the brain has turned off most of the body's muscle function so we cannot act out our dreams - we are temporarily paralyzed.
"Sometimes your brain doesn't fully switch off those dreams - or the paralysis - when you wake up," Hirshkowitz told ABC News. "That would explain the 'frozen' feeling and hallucinations associated with sleep paralysis." According to his research, the effect only really lasts from a few seconds to as long as a minute, but in this half-dream half-awake state, to the victim it can seem much longer.
In her article, "Help! I Can't Move!," Florence Cardinal, About.com's Guide Sleep Disorders, writes: "Sleep paralysis is often accompanied by vivid hallucinations. There may be a sense someone is in the room, or even hovering over you. At other times, there seems to be pressure on the chest, as though someone or something perched there. There may even be sexual attacks associated with the hallucinations. The sound of footsteps, doors opening and closing, voices, all can be a very frightening part of sleep paralysis. These are known as Hypnagogic and Hypnopompic Experiences and they are what make people dread an episode of sleep paralysis."
- For all their explanations, however, the sleep experts still do not know what causes the brain to screw up like this, or why some people experience it more than others. But there are some theories:
- "Episodes of paralysis can occur when the body is in any position, but happen most frequently when the sleeper is lying flat on his or her back. Intense fear is common, but sometimes other strong emotions, such as sadness or anger, are present," says Florence Cardinal in "The Terror of Sleep Paralysis."
- For some, SP is often brought about by not getting enough sleep or being overtired.
- Likewise, disrupted sleep schedules or circadian rhythm disturbances can produce an episode of sleep paralysis.
- It is more common in people who suffer from severe anxiety or bipolar disorder.
- Some research shows that SP is five times more likely to occur with people who are taking such anti-anxiety drugs as Xamax or Valium.
- A study found that 35 percent of subjects with isolated sleep paralysis also report a history of wake panic attacks unrelated to the experience of paralysis.
How can you prevent sleep paralysis? According to clinical research, you may be able to minimize the episodes by following good sleep hygiene:
- get enough sleep
- reduce stress
- exercise regularly (but not too close to bedtime)
- keep a regular sleep schedule
"For some people this may not be possible, however," says Florence Cardinal, "so instead let's look at ways to escape from the grip of sleep paralysis. The best remedy is to will yourself to move, even if it's only the wiggling of your little finger. This is often sufficient to break the spell. If you can manage it, scream! Your roommate may not appreciate it, but it's better than suffering through a long and fear-filled episode. If all else fails, seek professional help.
"Sounds like good advice. The bottom line is that you really have nothing to fear, in a paranormal sense, from sleep paralysis. That old hag you feel perched on your chest may be nothing more than the anxiety of living in a stressful world.

I actually saw a story about the old hag sydrome. It becomes so real to the person that it sucks the energy right out of them. They become weak and scared and do not know how to stop the attacks. Thanks for bringing this up because It sure does explain things for some people and there is treatment out there.
The story that I saw, the women tried everything and nothing helped. Then she ended up having some kind of ceremony done and lots of prayers and more. This thing or these experiances finally left her.

It happened to me. A few time's. I thought I was crazy until I read this. IT really is soooo freaky. I've had it happen a few times a yr since 4rth grade. I remember in 4rth grade I was napping before school and when I awoke I saw the room, but couldn't move. I kept looking at my body not moving and thought I was frozen. When I glanced at the TV it had a evil face in it and I cried out ''God help me the devil is going to eat me'' LOL. In a few minute's after trying to move I was able to get up as though nothing happened. It was a horrid experience that I can still remember amazingly.
Now, I live with my fiancé and I'm a grown adult, but I've had several time's living here that I woke up while he was working and I couldn't move. Over the year's I've learned that if I kepp trying to move and kick, it seems to snap me out of it faster. The scarest thing is that while the last 2 time's it's happened its felt like someone was tocuhing me on my face or arms... VERY scary. I think one time I cried lol. I just hope that it doesn't EVER happen again. But I doubt that I'm that lucky lol.

I don't think that these experiances are evil being's haunting me. It simply can be explained as a sleeping phanomina. Crazy, but it makes sense.
Now, on the subject of spirits, I'm not religious but when I was smaller I was. I lived in a regular house. In 2nd grade. My parent's weren't bad parent's then, not until I hit 12 or so. But my father watched things that weren't good on TV. Shooting people, things that kid's shouldn't see. He was a mean person to almost everyone. One day I started seeing people walkig through the house. The would go out of the TV and into my dad. They'd follow my parent's and watch me. But when they tried to enter my room they couldn't. B/c I was a christian I prayed the blood of jesus over my life and room. So they couldn't touch me. One day I fell down the stairs, and I know it was one of the ghosts because I felt its cold hand on my back. So my gram is a christian. She gave me a letter that prays for a house and that evil must leave it. I hung it on the fridge and within a few days all the spirits left. Being raised as a christian, and sort of still being one, I think these were demons that my dad and mom had inside them. They were in sin because of not living right and having me without being married. My gram told me that I had a gift called Decerning of Spirits. A gift god gives people to see into the spiritual world. So, I told god I didn't want this gift it scared me and since then I haven't been able to see anything. Wheither or not I'm christian, I still believe in spirits. I do believe that in their relm they fight all the time between good and evil. It's the balance of life. But I strongly think if you tell a spirit to leave it will. The time it doesn't is when its not a spirit it a demon and in my opinion that's when you need help the most.

Hey I didn't know that this was from a year ago... but my ex boyfriend killed his self on January 27, 2008. He did it right in front of my house well when they took his body away... he came in my room and the only reason that I know it was him is because I had just gotten off the phone with his step mom and I looked over and I saw a dark shadow move away from my dresser and out the door. And I didn't go to bed until 6 that morning. Well coming home from work I would see him the road when the headlights would hit him just right. And when I would be looking out the window and some one else's headlights would hit him. I would see him but before the car would get too close to him he would disappear. So I know what you are going trough... his name was joey and he'd even follow me in the shower.

If you have a dog and he or she is looking at nothing that means he or she is looking at a ghost I no that because I have a dog and he just looks into space and I did research and it said that dogs can see things humans can't see same with baby's.

OK I personally have been haunted by things in my life... many things.
And if your door is opening by itself then its most likely a POLTERGEIST.
Poltergeist -german word meaning "noisy spirit", the are invisible and very very menacing. So basically if you see stuff moving and nobody's doing or then it might be that.
Here's something I would like for you to try (just to confirm you do have a poltergeist in your house.)
1. befopre you go to bed place some kind of a book or.. a chair in front of the door to insure it can't move due to wind.
2. if you get up and go to work/school in the mourning set out a neat pile of stuff (like mail or something.) also I would lay out maybe a 5 dollar bill to make sure its not a bunch of kids doing it.
3.place a video camera in front of both of your settings.
4.if you did find it was a ghost either call a ghost hunters team or get a digital recorder (so you can have it on your computer) and go room to room asking it like "who are you?" (leave at least 10 seconds or so inbetwwn the questions so they can answer) and "are you an evil ghost?" "whats your name?" "are you a boy or girl?" just ask questions like that.
**IT MAY BE A lot LESS SCARIER IF YOU HAVE A Friend WITH YOU**
5.if you have ensured you do have a ghost then ITS TIME FOR AN EXORCISM. Which you will need a local preist for. (exocism can release the ghost from your house so that it can finally get on with its life and you can get on with yours)
OK? That should cover it :)

Some time you can get them away from you by using salt,, salt is a excellent way to keep yourself protected... just make sure you make a circle on the floor and stay in the circle. Ghost can't come near you.
Secondly, anything which is Iron can scare them away... the only way you can remove ghost for good is by burning off their remains.. e.g. hair. Shoes. Hankerchiefs etc
Good luck...
Tip.. be careful with angry ghosts they can kill you or possess you. Some ghosts are friendly to living things.
Hope that helps

Once when I was asleep during the middle of the night at 3 O'Clock, I saw a black cloaked thing walking around my house. I couldn't follow that thing I saw because I thought I was just but then I heard a sound and everyone was asleep "as in deep sleep" so I went downstairs and I took a good clear face of that thing I saw. It had a white face with a long white nose and sharp nails and sharp teethes I was scared, my heart was beating so fast I could not stop it. So I went to sleep and locked the door. Next morning I saw a trail of blood on the floor which came from the lounge and the window was opened wide.

Well... it all started with a feeling that I have a presence near me! I had a dream of a guy with blonde hair standing in rain. He would be looking at the floor. I would go to my mothers room, then when I return my covers would be all over the place! Finally when I look in the mirror, half of it would be normal and the other half would be upside down. All of the sudden I would start floating in the air... but right then I woke up. And sometimes my dog will bark at the windows or at the garage and I would run to see if someone is there but no one is there! BUT THEN AGAIN MY DOG IS BLIND!!

Hello I would rather keep my identity a secret... I am a ghost whisper... I have a special gift to see and talk to ghosts/spirts... I look on the internet for anyone that needs help with being haunted or watched by ghosts... now what I need you to do is get some salt make a circle with the salt stand in the middle and communicate ask questions for example what is your name? What do you want from me? How did you die? Like one of these guys said get something to dangle... clockwise means yes counter clockwise means no left means I don't know right means I can not understand

Dear 52pup,
You have the symptums of a dream ghost whisper... a dream ghost whisper does not have an ability to see the ghosts but communicate with them by using dreams.the ghosts will come to your dreams and give you signs by showing you weird things in your dreams they will move and mess things up!
