I have been on birth control pills since I was in the 7th grade, however I tend to always take them late especially in the past month. I would simply forget or take them hours later than my normal time. My period ended up being 3 days late and only lasted about an hour long, however it was light enough to where I could have wore a pantie liner and it would have bleed through. My nipples are really sore, I don't even want to wear a bra. I seem to be really nauseated throughout the day but it's off and on. Everything I eat seems to go right through me and I've been emotional. Last night I asked my boyfriend to come see me and he wouldn't and I simple started crying, I mean come on! I haven't urinated more than usually however. I took a home pregnancy test last Thursday and it read back negative, but could it of been a false negative?

Not enough information ( that is needed)

When was your period due ? What date,
When you took the pregnancy test was it first thing in the morning ?
Are you at least 14 days late ?

You have to be 14 days late, past period, to do a urine test. If you tested earlier, yes it would not be a valid reading

I'm for sure positive on when my period was due, I never kept track on a calender just on my birth control pack but I'm pretty sure it was due the 2nd of January, and came 3 days late and only lasted for not even an hour.
I took the test last Thursday, the 10th but I took it between 1130am and 1230pm.

Why don't you take another test? The tests are most accurate in the morning when you first wake up. The hormones are highest at this time.

I'm supposed to be going to my gynecologist tomorrow so should I just go to it or take another home test?
