Here is the delio. Me and my fiancé had sex on the 6th through the 5th. I usually don't get my period until the 10th, Last Dec 2012 I had my period on the 10th exactly and before that Nov I had my period on the twelfth. So if Im correct my period should have been earlier this month(january) anyway... he came inside of me as he always does, a few days later my tots start hurting so I'm like yay my period is starting lets get this **** over with, cramping started happening and I was ready to get it done with. But cramping stayed mild and boobs hurts bad, putting my bra on hurts. I have been pregnant before but had a miscarriage and my boobs never hurt this bad.. My stomach feels weird like I just ate a big meal and some times my lower stomach bloats up and its quite odd, it comes and goes... Everyday since the 8th or 9th I have been feeling like I'm going to start the rag... but don't. I have tried having sex to encourage my period like I have done in the past, excersize does it for me and some times I can just sit on the toilet and grunt to make myself start, did all that and got nothing... I would like to be pregnant but its fine with me if I'm not, there is no stress going on in my brain right now so I know that can't be holding me back from having my period. At the end of December I got a pap smer done and was fine, no infections no nothing, I'm perfect and spiffy down there. Got any ideas or has any one who found out they were pregnant gone through this?

Everyone experiences different things during pregnancy, we're all unique in that respect. There are no set symptoms that definitely indicate pregnancy. If there were, pregnancy could be diagnosed by symptoms, which it can't.

Wait until at least 2 weeks after your period is due. If it doesn't come, try a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If that test is negative, wait until your next period is due. If that period is also missed, then test again or get a blood test done.

Good luck.

I am sorry reading this makes it hard for me to believe this is a adult writing this,
Sitting on toilet to start period ? Start the rag? Pregnant?
Do they have no respect for themselves and proper terms.

But anyway, yes you could be pregnant, having sex does that.

Using your estimated dates I would say wait one more week and then do a urine (that is pee) test, using the first urine of the morning as soon as you wake up

I'm 22 years old, so what my language is different then you and your "proper" language, get over it. And thanks anyway I took a pregnancy test a few days ago and it came up negative, I am only asking because I am impatient and want to hear what others think during my wait.

So you just want to chat about it? Then talk to your friends on Facebook.

This is a question and answer site, not a chat site.

We answered your question. It's possible that you're pregnant, you'll have to take a pregnancy test around 2 weeks after your missed period, using first morning urine. If that test is negative you wait until your next period is due and if you miss it, test again or get a blood test done.

That's really the only information we can give you.

Actually I was looking for input from girls who have had this experience before and found out they were pregnant, thanks for being a jerk though. Please don't comment on my question if your going be rude to me, I never did anything to you. If you don't care, don't post...

This is a public site. Anyone that is a member can post on this thread. It's not your property, it's the property of the site, therefore you can't dictate who posts on it.

Having said that, let me try to explain why asking other women about their symptoms, won't give you answers. Pregnancy symptoms are also flu symptoms, food poisoning symptoms, symptoms of cancer, PMS, and many other things. That's why pregnancy can't be diagnosed by symptoms. Also, as I mentioned in my very first post to you, every woman is different, and experiences different things. So someone can come here and say "oh ya, I experienced that exact thing, and I was pregnant". That doesn't mean that you are.

I'm not being rude, I'm trying to tell you the facts. The only way to determine pregnancy is with a urine test, a blood test, or an ultrasound later in pregnancy. Symptoms cannot diagnose pregnancy.

If you already took a test and it was negative, it was likely too early to test. So wait another week or two, and test again if you still haven't gotten your period. If that test is also negative, then wait until your next period is due, and test again if you miss it, or get a blood test.

That's really the only definitive answer anyone can give you. If you want guesses, then really, talk to your friends. If you want facts, they've been given to you.

Good luck.

I never said this is my property and I never thought it was. I want to hear from girls who have similar experiences. Just because you tell me that doesn't change the fact that its not a "personal" story, Im trying to find something to relate to... Thanks for your advice though

Okay then, I'll tell you my story.

With each of my three pregnancies I had PMS symptoms and thought that I was getting my period. I was not the norm though, I tested only a few days after I missed my period, and got a reliable result each time, a positive. That's not what normally happens. Most women don't get a result until weeks after a missed period. Many women don't get a reliable result until after their first trimester. Some women never get a positive result, even though they are in fact pregnant.

But, with each of my three, I thought my period was coming, because I had the cramping, and the sore breasts, but it wasn't my period, I was pregnant.

Now, that's my story, my body, my medical history. It has nothing to do with you, or your situation, because you're not me.

So, having said that, how does hearing my story, help you?
