I have recenlty installed a new Harbor Breeze fan in the bedroom of our new house. After I installed it, everything worked as it should. I had three speeds when using the pull chain and the light switched on and off with the other. One day I had it on the lowest setting and I came back into the room and it was on high. Now the fan only works in the high speed mode through all three pulls of the chain and turns off on the fourth pull of the chain. Any insight? The other two fans I installed still work flawlessly. Thank you

You could try using a wall switch that controls fans. They allow you to change the speed at the switch and you would want to fan on high anyway for this type of control

Sounds like a bad capacitor. Since it is a new fan, take it back.
