My 14 year old sister wants to live with me and our family. She comes to stay with me every couple of weeks because my mum leaves her to go to her boyfriends in england (we live in wales) for weeks at a time. She never cooks my sister food never buys her anything never talks to her.my sister has been in hospital twice this year once for.attempted suicide. I left home when I was 16, my other sister came to live with me when she was 15, that was nearly 5 years ago.. My mother said she would sign everything and let me have my sister but now she has changed her mind and my sister really doesn't want to go back. What do I do?

You don't have any rights at this point. What you need to do is get your local family services agency involved over the abuse that is driving your sister to suicide. Tell the agency that you are willing to foster your sister. Tell them about your raising your other sister.

Hopefully they will investigate and remove the child from your mother and place her with you.
