Had new performance series carriar furnace installed.Two weeks later door latch assembly fell off furnace blower compartment cover.taped it so interlock switch will engage.dealer seems to be unable or unwilling to put much priority to obtain replacement part.called office several times but they keep saying they will get back to me----they don't.anyone I can get in touch with to get action or obtain part on my own?

Get on the Carrier help line and tell them your story. Forget the dealer, go directly to the manufacturer and complain.
