Im just wondering if someone can offer some advice regarding sexual long term relationships. I have been with my boyfriend for just over 8months, and he is 14years older than me. When we first got together we used to have sex all the time, now I'm lucky if I get sex once in a whole weekend I see him.. we only see each other on the weekends and 1 night during the week and it sort of feels like he's just stopped trying. I seem to have a high sex drive with him but he's sort of turned off a bit. I've never really had a high sex drive before as always felt hounded for it by previous long term partners.

I am not overly confident or forth coming by initating it and thought maybe he just wanted to feel wanted and that it was too much in the first place. I've mentioned to him before that id like to be intimate more often and he agreed.. but no change. I've also mentioned trying new things or trying to turn him on and initating it but when I do he doesn't seem to enjoy it or actually finish himself. Its like it has to be on his terms or nothing else. I guess what I'm asking is in other opinions is it 'normal' for a guy with a girlfriend who is a lot younger than himself to not want her all the time, or 'hound' her for sex. Have you asked him these questions? Part of a healthy relationship that includes the sexual part is communication. We could guess because it could be a number of reasons. 1) He's married; or 2) He has someone else during the week; or 3) He is bored; or 4) He has found religion; etc.

You see the point right? Talk to him and don't approach it as you are judging the situation or that you are being negative, because that won't help.
