I am looking for a movie of a deaf and mute couple who have speaking daughter and her younger brother aged approx 7 or 8.The boy fell off the balcony and died and the daughter continued her life alone with her parents up until going away to Collage.She had a boyfriend and tried to introduce him back to her parentsat the community.Her parents refused to let the boy into their world of silence despite their daughters plea.
Their refusal went on until the daughter got pregnant while continuing begging her parents to allow him in. In the end they did and lived to see their speaking grandson began embracing sign language at a very tender age of 3 or 4.
The characters of this movie all dressed up like in the late 1890's or early 1900's!
