My parents basement bathroom shower is OLD and UGLY cement blocks. We need to fix it up to make it more eye appealing for potential buyers. We don't want to put in any extra money on this project than we have to and we also want something fast & hopefully pretty easy to do. There will be 2 of us women doing this work and we have no idea where to start. Therefore, we do not want to put in tile and grout and all that stuff (too expensive and more time involved. Is there a waterproof paint that can be used for this purpose? If so, then does it need some type of a sealer coat put over the waterproof paint?
Thanks for your help, Phyllis

If you don't want tile, use a good marine epoxy paint. You may also look at liner kits. Tile is the best for resale, do the walls with closeout tile and paint the floor .
