Hello, I went to my obgyn on12-28 and was told I was 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant by my lmp witch was around 12-28 I left my husband and started sleeping with my boyfriend on 12-1 my last recollection of sex with my husband was 1 week before my lmp. Could this be my husbands baby?

The dates are too close together. The only way to determine paternity when there are two possible fathers, is a DNA test after the baby is born.

Ultrasounds are a best guess, they can be off by 2 weeks either way, which adds up to a month.

Really, the only reliable way to determine paternity is with a DNA test.

Everything else is a guess.

Yes with all the data you provided there is a chance it could be the husbands, so a DNA test will be needed to be sure.

Also legal issues, since most states legally consider the child the husband if pregnancy and/or birth occur while married.

I went for an u/s yesterday and my g/s measures 6wks 1day.. however the fetal pole or heartbeat was not detected the g/s and yolk sac are there! I had blood drawn and my hcg levels were great but they only put me at 4 Weks I half to wraith until Monday to speak with my ob but I am worried about this baby! Has any one else had a "6wk" u/s and olny seen the yolk sac? What is going on with my baby? I've never experienced this before and I'm very scared!

The ultrasound put you at 4 weeks, and yes, at 4 weeks it's perfectly normal. You're putting your date at 6, not the ultrasound.

You posted that they said you're 4 weeks.

Wait and talk to your ob. Remember that ultrasounds are a best guess. Since you don't know exactly when you conceived, they go by your last menstrual cycle, and what they find on ultrasound. But at this stage in the game, there's not a huge difference between 4 and 6 weeks. A two week gap is normal, since it's ultrasound, and just a best guess.

No my blood hcg levels say I'm only 4weks, my lmp sais I'm 5 weeks 4days and my u/s sais I'm 6wks 1day as if yesterday! Im so confused n the teck didn't say much just that the yolk sac is a good sign and to call my ob. I just want to know if there's a baby in there and if its OK!

There's no way for us to give you that information, we don't have access to your ultrasound, or the findings, just what you told us. We know as much as you do at this point.

The tech is right, you'll have to talk to your OB.

Only the doctor can tell you if everything is okay. The fluctuation of your dates is pretty common. It would be too early to see a heartbeat yet.

Agree, at this point and time, there is just too little info available, and dates and info can change over the next weeks.
