Hello, thanks for reading my post.
My son has a wart like thing on his lip, we have no medical insurance and would rather not visit a doctor only to refer us to a skin specialist. It is on his lip so we haven't pursued any wart remover therapies like the ones sold at the grocery/walgreens store because of the possible long term scarring and the area which is at. We have tried daily tea tree oil treatment, comfrey, and now toothpaste. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

Quite a while, months, wasn't as big though, started small.

While we do not diagnose on AMHD it might be helpful for you to try Abreeva if it is a form of a cold sore. If it's not a cold sore an is, in fact, a wart, take comfort that warts are a virus and they eventually do disappear without any form of intervention.

Thanks J_9 for taking the time to read and respond. Much appreciated! Will try that as if it is a wart and warts disappear, it should have been gone by now. Cheers!

Actually it can take many months and sometimes up to a year before the wart is gone. If it is a wart.

I know you said you have no insurance, but please consider trying to save some money. Make an appointment with a Dermotoligist. They might let you pay it off on time, a little every month. I would really suggest a doctor see this. It might be cancerous or it might not be. I do wish you the best.
I don't know the area in which you live, but some places do have a free clinic available. Please try to find out if you can go to one.
