Hi there
I used to live in the UK, but now am resident here in the states. When my ex husband and I divorced there were debts left from the marriage. Over here I am trying to pay them but alas about a year behind payment schedules which I shall be changing soon hopefully. One question is Will non current payments prevent me from visiting the UK legally or will they know I'm in the county? Another question I have is. My ex husband does not pay any child support. I called him today to try and cut a deal and come to some arrangement for him to pay. I told him the option was for me to go to Child Support in this country. He told me that he didn't have any money and if I did turn him in then he would make sure that I paid all the debts from our marriage instead of just my own. He then preceded to hang up on me. What are my rights here? Can he really get me to pay all the debts from the marriage?

Thanks
