I set the thermostat to higher than room temp. The motor (must be the prepurge cycle) starts to spin but shuts off after a short time. I believe that the ignitor is not heating up. Nothing looks physically damaged. I believe that I see the ignitor. I do not hear a relay click on. What sequence should I use or measure ti verify what component is faulty.
Thanks,
Don

I would start by checking for voltage to the igniter while the draft inducer is running. If you are getting 120v at any time to the igniter yet it will not glow, you have a bad igniter. Fairly common.
