My husband and I got married March 2012. Ever since then we been trying to get pregnant. No luck!! We looked on the internet of what we can try and what we could do and nothing helped. I'm 19 and he is 21.

Seriously, why the rush?

How about going to a fertility clinic and have yourselves tested... so you at least know if either or both of you has a problem.

And like CurlyBen stated... why the rush... some people get knocked up the first time they have sex... some take years of actually trying.

We didn't go to the clinic because we don't have a whole lot of money right now. We both really want a baby.

If you think a fertility clinic is expensive... wait until you find out how expensive a baby is.

Well,of course I know how much a baby costs. There isn't nothing I wouldn't do for my child no matter what the cost. I rather spend money of my child then going to the clinic. You must think I'm that dumb or something. I'm just here to ask for opinions or something instead of getting critizied. If I wanted someone to be mean with me I wouldn't of gotten this account!

I got this account for the simple fact that I wanted to see if the same thing happened to someone else. The point is that I want opinions not meaness. I don't know if there is any free clinics or anything like that.

Whew! Someone needs to step back and calm down a little bit.

Where was he being mean to you? Where were you being criticized? Sorry, I don't see it.

Anyway, what was already said still goes. Some people get pregnant pretty quickly, others have to work at it. It's not an exact science.

Nobody here was being mean... we are simply telling it to you like it is.

If you can afford a child.. you can afford the fertility clinic if you really end up having problems.

Figure out what you THINK a kid will cost every year... now triple that number. And you will be close. And it only goes up with age and inflation... not down.

You know what... take a chill pill... the only attitude here is yours. I've been here 8 years... you've barely been here 8 minutes.

Site rules specifically state you get the answers you get.. you can't dictate who answers or how they answer... you got honest straight forward answers so far.

Yea, well, I know. I just want to know what and if anyone else went through or is going through the same thing and how they are dealing with it. I think I know roughly about how much it costs to raise a child. It's really not that hard whether you know or if had one or not. I know some people get pregnant quicker then others. Of course I'm the one person who got to work harder for a baby. The people who get pregnant faster are the ones who don't really want a child. It doesn't matter how long you been here and it shouldn't matter how long you been here smoothy.

It took me three years of trying, then a year of fertility treatments. When we ran out of money, we gave up. I got pregnant shortly after that. So, remember it takes the average couple at least a year to conceive. Like the others said, if you want to know if either if you has a medical reason you haven't become pregnant, get fertility testing.

Is there a fertility test that can be bought at a drug store or something? Did you get to have more kids after doing the year of fertility treatments or did you have to do it every time? I'm glad that someone else went through it. It makes me feel a little bit better about what we are going through.

No tests that I know of at a drug store. I had to go through treatments twice. Two healthy kids, but the meds were $1,000 a month.

Oh my goosh. That's crazy. That helps. Guess got to wait a few more months to see if we can have kids without any treatment.

No, you are not the only one who is going through this...

Many couples try to get pregnant, and it could take a while.

Speaking to your doctor will help.

You are very young and you do have plenty of time. If you were in your thirties, trying to conceive, well then, perhaps I would have a different take on this.

Good luck.
