Ugh I know I shouldn't need money at the age 11 but honestly I have a very amazing social life and my friends always want me to go do activities such as ice skating and swimming and I have to decline too much than I want to. So now to get to my point - How to get a good job in the winter because I only have one babysitting gig and they don't even pay because they guil me into "just doin it for fun!" yeah not helpful. So really I just want to know a good job that doesn't involve babysitting grass cutting - it is winter- and cleaning houses - the people in my neighborhood are kind of jumpy and very cautious about who they let into their houses! So thanks and I appreciate the help!! Xoxoxo - the hippie chik ;)

There is no way to make fast and easy money, especially at age 11.

You could offer services such as dog walking and maybe do yard work. At 11, you are somewhat limited in what you can do.

I would try to think of something your parents do that cost them money. They offer to do it for less. Like wash their car. I know its winter but think of something like that.

Get paid to do something for your parents? Really?

I should try that. I'll buy my kids clothes, pay for their food, pay for the roof over their head, pay for their education, medical bills, etc, but I'll only charge them half. Sounds like a plan. I should start a bill right now. Let's see, they owe me around $500,000, half of what it cost to get them to the ages of 10 and 14.

But I will pay them to wash my car. It costs around $10 to get it done at a car wash, so if I pay them $5 that will save me money. They can put the $5 towards their debt to me.

In other words, doing things around the house, is a given, a responsibility, something you should do to help out. Not something you should expect to get paid for.
