I recently got married, my wife had adopted her nieces. I'm taking a livescan as soon as my criminal records get cleared. What do they look for?

What exactly do they look for in a livescan upon adopting? I got married, am doing a Clean Slate Program to have a family. I have no sexual crimes or anything to do with children. Do I have anything to worry about?
