I have a 1989 honda accord lxi... the wheel of my driver side came off braking my studs that holds the wheel on.. :( I got all the parts to repair.. ;) but when it came to taking off the cv hub nut, I couldn't get it off.. :( I had people jumping on the braker bar to brake the nut loose, but notthing!! I tried heating it up then, then braking it loose with the braker bar an still notthing!! if anyone know how to get the cv hub nut off would be nice...

1. If the hub nut is staked, unstake it with a punch or chisel. If it's secured by locking tabs, bend the tabs out. You may want to spray with Kroil or PB Blaster and let it sit for a while.
2. Break the hub nut loose with a socket and large breaker bar. To prevent the hub from turning, place a prybar between two of the wheel studs, then loosen the nut.

Why would you pull the hub off to replace the studs? Hammer them out, find the best place where they almost come out and relieve that area with a grinder only enough to remove stud. Most people will think I'm stupid for telling you to do this but that part is cast iron, it won't go anywhere. Unless this is a show car, grind the damn thing and forget about the grief of disassembling all that stuff. Unless you have a nice big slidehammer after you get the nut off to take the hub off.

I may also mean where they almost just fit back in.
