What is the best way to unclog a drain?

The best way to clear a blockage is with a snake. Harsh chemicals only seem to work in TV commercials and a "air blaster" will only work until it gets to a vent and then it dissipates up the vent. The only sure way is to snake the drain. Regards, Tom
