I know there is a way he can stay here. People tell me if he has a clean record he can stay. Is that true? Also he is still only a child with all of his family here what can we do if we have a good immigration lawyer?

There doesn't HAVE to be a way... if he doesn't follow the rules and the law they will NEVER let him be here legally.

The best lawyer in the world won't help in many situations... kids don't matter, wife doesn't matter... YOU can spend all you want and still never get what you want..

I know... a friend of mine spent over ten years and untold 10's of thousands of dollars only to be told his wife will NEVER be allowed here legally... and they are married and have a kid... she has never been arrested but anyone here illegally IS guilty of a crime... entering the country illegally or overstaying a legal entry is a crime.

You might get lucky with a lawyer.. but its no guarantee. You won't know until you try.

Every case is different, they will need to file with immigration the correct paper work, and have a hearing,

So may be sent back to file from there,
May be sent back and not allowed to return,

Or may be allowed to stay.
