A friend stopped takng BP med prescribed by her doc & will not see her doc. BP was 200/95 & it took four months on med to get her in normal range. Without meds & doing herbs/vitiams & no change in lifestyle will her BP stay normal at 80 yrs old?

Without medication her blood pressure will not remain in the normal range. Is she trying to have a stroke or heart attack?

It won't remain in the normal range without any other sort of treatment, that's for sure. Someone that elderly just stopping the meds cold turkey is insane. While there are also alternative treatments for high BP, no one in their right mind would advocate this. Which brings me to the point, I don't think she is in her right mind, and you may want to have her mental health assessed :)

No it will return high and do her harm. Most likely stroke earlier than she should
