My partner and I have had to deal with 4 miscarriage's before been blessed with our son (now 15 month) I could usually tell when I was beginning to miscarry as it felt like I was starting my period and progressively got worse, more pain and more blood with clots, I am however confused though we have not purposely set out to get pregnant we have just found out we are but only four weeks, I found out as I thought I was starting my period as normal though it was 7 days early it started as a little blood then turned into the dark red/brown blood and had one day where I had bad cramps! For a full 7 days now its been nothing but this old blood with no pain that's concerned me could this be a miscarriage? That's rather long and less painful as I'm not far gone?

I really wish diagnosing were possible on the internet, but it's not.
Please see your doctor, that's the only way to find out what's going on.
Good luck.

I have seen a doctor hence finding out I was pregnant, it was too early for a scan to see he it was ectopic my blood levels come back with a count of something like 370 I will be having another blood done but now not until after xmas, this is merely so I can try and get an understanding of what is going not,

And sadly there's no way to tell you what's going on. You could be miscarrying, it could be a complication, it could be anything. There's absolutely no way to give you even an accurate guess about what's happening, not over the internet, which is why I suggested that you see your doctor.
If this is a concern then you do have the option of going to the hospital, but I can tell you right now, you won't find any legitimate answers online.
Good luck.

Yes thank you, when I go back to the doctors and get more bloods done it will either be up or down determining what's going on, in the mean time I just wanted to read peoples experiences, I do not expect someone to come out right and say what's going on but this is a discussion forum and I like to hear peoples thoughts and experiences, it seems to ease the process! I am an intelligent woman after all but we all need comfort at times thank you

Actually, this isn't a discussion forum. This is a question and answer site. We answer questions here. If it's a medical question, which we can't diagnose, we don't encourage people to post their similar stories. It can confuse the person asking.
If you want a discussion, we do have discussion forums on this site. But the pregnancy and new motherhood forum isn't a discussion forum. It's a place where you ask your question, and it's answered.
The answer to your question is to see your doctor. No discussion needed, and anyone that posts any differing advice is risking a penalty on this site, or being banned, as it's against the rules of this site to diagnose.
I hope you can understand that.
I do understand the need to talk about this, but this forum isn't the place to do that.
I wish you the best of luck.
