I am trying find the printed story as narrated by Jeoffrey Lewis.. I have it the past
On my local NPR station. It is a story about how a man's wife asked to church
On Christmas eve, but refuses.. She leaves and hears a lot of squaking outside..
He goes outside to several geese that did not go with winter migration.. He knows they will perrish overnight in the severe cold... He opens the door of the barn that is heated for his livesstock.. It is also lighted. He tries to shoo them into the open barn, the geese just run around the yard.. He get frustrated He knows they will freeze overnight.. He says to himself " If only I could become one
of them, I could speak to them and tell that is safe inside the barn" Just then, the
Church bells ring... reminding him of Christ... Joeffrey Lewis has also done some narrations on Celestrial Navigations..
