I have to take random urine test so I don't drink... The laboratory that does the test is Fortes laboratory , yet the test said positive,, I'm calling and calling my probationer to ask him what was my urine positive for but he is not answer his phone. I do take prescription Bendzos... But how can a test say positive when I'm not drinking... I'm so mad.

The test that I do is so I can maintain my license with the state... I am required to go to AA meetings weekly ,random UA TESTING , see a shrink, see a doc, see a counselor , get a sponsor , join a group , write quarterly reports about me, AND NOT DRINK.. All of which I'm doing religiously . I felt that I could do it until the urine test said positive. Now why in the world would I go through all this HeLL , and then drink just to throw al this HELL AND HUMILIATION down the drain? Now I feel like just giving up screw the job and just start drinking again... HEll I find a different job...

You may have eaten something containing alcohol, from a sauce on food to a truffle. Do you tend to eat in good restaurants?
Or the test may have given a false positive, or they mixed up your results.
So yes, get a lawyer.

Many every day household items can cause false readings at time.

There are dozens of household or cleaning items that can cause false positive on some tests.
Next why would you, I guess you did not, but 1000's of people do, we have a few every day wanting to know how to cheat a test, since they were drinking on the weekend and have a test on Wed. So a large group of people do keep drinking because they have a drinking problem.

Yes, 'why would I' is a famous response of the guilty, who talk circles around themselves in an effort to deny the facts. But I chose to believe. And it isn't fair when test results are wrong, and that can happen, and I can't imagine what it's like to be following all the rules and go through this just because of the combination of cheaters and faulty testing.
