Today is 12/18/12. I smoked pot twice in October, maybe a total of one bowl, probably less. I smoked a joint on the day before Thanksgiving and took 3-4 hits (something called purple cheese). Now, 27 days after my last smoke, I am selected for a hair test. Had my hair cut today. Did not do anything to try to "wash it our of my hair". Is there a chance I passed due to the infrequency of smoking?

Unless they pulled it all out by the roots.. its in the shaft and hair follicles as well.

They can also use far slower growing hair like eyelashes, eyebrows, body and pubic hair.

EtG can be detected for 80 hours, however everyone's body rids itself at different paces. I think you have a good chance of passing.

I passed my hair test!! So here is my full story for those who need reassurance. I smoked on October 12 and 13th, 3-4 hits from a pipe. I smoked 3-4 hits at the end of October. I smoked 3-4 hits from a joint on November 21, 2012. My hair test was on 12/18/12 and I found out I passed on 12/26/12.

I took a hair test a few weeks after taking a total of 6 vicodin and a few xtc pills and passed. I just took a hair test today, I smoked twice in October 2012 and once in November 2012.

Report this as an expert you will have more pull... I reported it yesterday and nothing was done.

Smoothy, it does take some time for mods to get to the task at hand. I am a mod, but keep my powers to my forum.

We will see what happens, I trust J9 to consider my request.

We do not teach people how to circumnavigate their ordered drug tests. IF you are an OB nurse as you say, that's a big IF there, I have to wonder about the care you are giving your patients when you are smoking pot, taking Vicodin as well as Ecstasy.

I truly hope you get the help you need and in the meantime, it might behoove your patients for you to take a leave of absence from work until you get your addiction straightened out.

As a fellow OB nurse, I am not above reporting my addicted co-workers for the safety of my patients. You should really be ashamed of yourself.
