In the District of Columbia, is it permitted to put a waste pump under a small sink in a room adjacent to a building's fire control room (the sink is located on the far wall - not the adjoining wall)?

And where will this pump discharge to? To a dry well? Back to the sewer? More details please! To check if it falls under DC code check with your local Building Department.
Good luck, Tom

I own a spa and am upgrading a room to also have a sink. The waste will discharge to an existing waste line of the sink in a treatment room across the hall.

Can you explain how this will work? Sink drains into a tank and the pumps pumps it up to a sewer line.
You're giving me nothing to work with here. Lay it out for me.
Will the sink drain to a closed tank or simply dump in a bucket? And how will you vent all of this? One more time. More details please! Tom
