When we use any other drain (sinks, dishwater, washing machine, showers, tubs or toilets) none of them have any problem draining however if we attempt to pour water into the basement floor drain it will take 2 or 3 days to slowly drain.
The floor drain does not back up when other drains are used. How can we find and correct the problem with the floor drain?

Pull the strainer and snake the floor drain out to the house main. Good luck, Tom
