Hi. I've read through a bunch of questions, but all the 'askers' seem to have the problem with only one toilet. I have the problem in at least two.
One of my kids was away for a few days and told me yesterday that when they had last flushed before they left, their 'deposit' didn't go all the way down the drain. They said when they flushed yesterday that it went down, but made a horrible sound that echoed through the house. I wasn't concerned since it was obvious to me why that happened. The toilet filled as normal and I thought all was again right with the world. But last night when I flushed my toilet (not clogged, previously flushed with no problems), it made what must have been the same noise that happened when they flushed their toilet. It scared me half to death, but everything seemed completely normal when the sound stopped/when the tank filled. The tank is filled at the level it always has been, the bowl also. There's no sound. But I'm terrified to flush any of the toilets.
I turned on the sink this morning to check if my water's running normally. For the very first moment it hesitated like when there's air in the pipes, but then was normal, and the other faucet I tried was normal from the moment I turned it on.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
