I don't know about the bath but sometimes people miss under the toilet rim, a lot of stuff can collect there and may even be caked right in and holding odor. The bath shouldn't connect to sewerage and the watercloset in the toilet would stop sewerage smell from outside

The bath shouldn't connect to sewerage Hey lordwispajust where do you think a bathtub connects to if not the drainage?

Hi cerebro and welcome to The Plumbing Page at ANHD.com.

where is the posible source of sewage smell in the toilet and bath?Could be many things causing your stinky.
1- A faulty wax seal
2- A blowback of sewer gas caused by a partial blockage, Any bubbling from your fixtures>
3- Could be rotting hair and rancid grease from a vanity or bathtub drain.
If you can sniff around and tell me where the smell's the smell's the strongest I can give you a solution. Back to you, Tom

Where do you live that allows bath and shower waste water to go into the storm runoff?
