If a person contributed to functions held by a body in the church are that person entitled to any benefits that the body offers at the end of the year if he/she resigns from the Church during the year.Can such a person take the body to churh

The key word is 'contributed.' I don't think you have a chance, sorry, unless there were promises of end of year benefits for those who gave. If you want to give us more details, maybe we can offer suggestions.

I am the Pastor of a church in South Africa and we have this incident within the mothers cell group were two of the lady's resigned from the church .They have contributed towards the function to raise money for the end of year function.Than the function was changed and were decided to by hampers for the mothers.But know months afterthey resigned they know wants to claim there portion of the hampers.My wife wanted to give them something as a thank you gesture for their contribution but the other members opposed this gesture unnanomously and it was documented not to give them from the hampers as new members had joined it would not be enough for those gone and those joined
