Hello.. I looking for someone to help me through fixing my furnace. I woke one morning freezing and couldn't get the furnace to light. The electric igniter would not work so through research I found out how to change the igniter.. Now when I turn the power and gas back on the igniter glows red and the blower runs but the pilot won't light. I smell gas and I have applied teflon paste to the small line inside to make sure I didn't loosen it. I also used a can of air to make sure the jet wasn't clogged. Im lost on what to do next. The only model # I can find is inside the furnace on a sticker from colsolidated industries.. Model # MBA 080 NH3R series 960216162... I also learned I have a smart sensor or smart igniter... sorry new to all this.. Please Help.. single mom here with very limited funds.. Thank you

I would call a professional since that furnace company's units have had recall and fires associated with them. Read more below.
