I'm 25 and have never been pregnant. My last period was sept 24. I went to the doctor on nov 12, for my reg pap. They did a urine test and it was negative. The doctor did my pap and it was OK also checked my ovaries and said was OK. Then did blood work and my hcg was 2. Since then I've been taking prenatal vitamins. Since taking the vitamins I feel like I have cramps but not really. My sister said it could be my uterus stretching. I'm tired a lot and really don't have the appitite to want to eat. I still haven't had my period and I don't know what's going on. I took a hpt on thurs and frid and both came out negative. Any help would be great.

In your blood work, is the most definite answer. I think you should do another blood work to get your answer.

But that's the problem I already had gone that long without my menstrual cycle, I will try and get in at the doctor, but I don't know. I wish there was more answers or reasons

I really wish that we could tell you what's going on, but even your doctor seems to be lost on this one, and he has access to your urine and blood, two things we'd need in order to diagnose pregnancy.

All I can tell you is to treat yourself as if you're pregnant. For some women it takes months, well into the second trimester, to get a reliable reading from a pregnancy test.

Keep testing every two weeks, make sure to use first morning urine, and do go back to your doctor.

Good luck.

Thanks and the last hpt I took was on Friday morning when I woke up. Well I kind of am treating it like I am I've been taking the vitamins my sister suggested I take something also so I will probably get that too. I'm just worried because I don't want it sprang on us last minute then rush to get everything we need. I know my boyfriend would be my me so I don't know why I freak out. I'm going to call the doctor on Monday, because it'd be 4 weeks since the last time I was there. Thanks again. Really just need the reassurance that ill be fine.
