I have a 24 week old lab/ great dane mix that will bite and pretty much try to eat anyone. He usually does this after I tell him "no" or if I take something away from him, or if someone tries to pet him. He always submits to me and usually obeys commands. He's a fast learner and I taught him all the basic commands. I take him out for an hour long run every day. Can you please help me?

Puppies can be very mouthy at this age. He is likely only playing in his mind. When have a pup that bites I scream OUCH at the top of my lungs each time he bites. Dogs do not understand English but the tone and volume teaches him this is something bery unpleasant.

He needs his own chew toys, especially strong ones like Kongs, kotted rope, and tough rawhide. When you say NO (or ouch) take away what he bites and give him a toy. You can leave him on a one foot leash, tug it, and command DOWN whenever he bites a person. After a minute give him a toy. Praise and pet him when he chews his toys.

Putting your finger on his tongue (not hard, just put pressure so it's unpleasant) can teach him to stop biting. Ballengerbs suggestion is also good. I will yike, like a dog, when my puppy bites. That's how another dog would communicate to him that this isn't pleasant, and it works instantly.
The yike only works when he's biting though, and it won't teach him not to bite. The finger on the tongue, or the roof of the mouth, will teach him to associate biting with something unpleasant, and he'll learn to stop.
Good luck.
