I'm going to a semi-formal dance that my school has on February 12. They have one every year and this year I am a sophomore, so I know what to expect. Last year almost everyone wore black, but a few people wore brighter colors like red and light pink and they really stood out. Everyone that I have talked to got their dresses at Macys or Filenes, but I don't want to get mine there because I don't want to have the same dress as anyone. Does anyone know:
1. If there is a website/place I can get a dress that no one else is likely to have
2. What color/style dress I should get? I'm 5'3", 110 pounds, B cup, hair a little bit shorter than my shoulders, blonde hair, blue-green eyes...
Any ideas anyone? Thanksss* :)

Hey my semiformal is February 4th. I know how you feel! Its so hard to find a dress, that fits correctly and looks good. Last year mine was black and pink, I got it from Parasian. They have a lot of good dresses. I'm about the same size as you and I went to Profitts this year and got mine. Everyone I know is wearin' black this year (last year is was pink, brown, or black). My dress is black and has some burgundy in it, and it's a halter. I really hope you can find a dress! No one really shows up with the same dress at my school (amybe because its so small I don't kno), but some other people got there dresses at Saks, Vessie B, BeBe, so just find one that looks good on you and you like, don't worry if someone else has the same one, shows you have good taste!
PS: how are you don' your hair? I have no clue how to do mine, my dress is a halter and I don't know if to wear it up or not. I have really straight hair, blondish brown and right below my shoulders.

Have you tried the Marshall's across from the Woodfield mall? I found a fancy dress for my niece's wedding there and only paid $25.00 for it. They have a better class of clothes since it's located near Woodfield. Never thought I'd find anything until I tried that store.
