Ok.I just install a new thermalcoupler and my burner still cuts out. However, I now noticed a weird sound like water is dripping onto the burner pan itself. It sizzles as it hits the fire. Any help??

Don't know what type if heat or furnace you have or how old unit is.
If hearing a sizzling and the inside of furnace is cast iron, turn off furnace and look into fire chamber. Using flash light look for dripping water.
Sounds like the iron has cracked and furnace needs to be replaced.

Hi Mark
Sounds like you have a closed combustion chamber water heater... yes? If so, then that dripping could be a result of a leaking water heater (leaks when the flu expands), or it could be due to moisture that is simply inherent with combustion AND your combustion chamber is not getting "MAKE-UP AIR" like it needs... ;)
Let us know more about your water heater... brand name would sure help here, OK?
Of course, it could also be a boiler as Chuck indicated...
Let us know more...
