So me and my boyfriend have been together 4 years now and we had the best sex life... I used to always want it but then about a year ago he started being really cold and distant and I broke up with him for about a month because he wasn't respecting the needs in our relationship like always choosing things over me and stopped seeing me etc... well he said he'd realized the mistakes he'd made and we got back together and everything's been perfect over this past year of being together but it seems like ever since I called it quits with him my desire to have sex with him changed. I don't know why.. it takes a lot more to get me in the mood now and even when we're having sex I don't always stay wet like I used to even though I'm enjoying it I just don't understand what's going on... I thought it wouldve gotten better by now after being back together for so long and it's really bothering me.

Perceptions, subconscious and otherwise.

The problem with breaks, especially if you initiate them, is that you get your own mental block about the person. You've decided he isn't worthy and subconsciously you don't see him as fit any more. So when you try to get things going with him, your subconscious is saying that he isn't really worth it and it affect your arousal.

Does that make sense? (It is a little fuzzy for me and hard to describe.)

It might be time to cut him lose for good.
