My very recent x boyfriend is a meth addict. He straightens himself up went back to school.. When we first broke up he'd received a large grant approx. 5 months ago.. Has been to jail once screwed off school. And now is running off to another state with his best friends girl. They are both using. She works at a store who serves to children. Hes joked about rehabilitate but really needs help. Been using off and on sense age nine. Troubled-fostered son of two meth addicts. Stopped school completely-Stopped showering or caring for himself. Has claimed to be suicidal. How do you get an intervention going if you're the only non using person who cares?

You can not, sorry but it is their life and they have a right to destroy it if they want. A meth addict is hard to recover and most go back even after months of being clean.

He wants to be where he is, and that he where he will be. At this point any attempts to help will be meet with anger, and/or, they will use you for what they can get out of you pretending to change.

He has to hit bottom and want to change before it will do any good
