Is TressPass notice is a criminal record...

Can police issue a trespass notice later if you caught shoplifting but no cops are called on instance

No there is no criminal record of this on your police record, if the police were not called and you did not go to court and get convicted.

The store will have a record of this, so that means someone could find out about it, but not from a criminal record history.

The police can still press charges anytime within the statue of limitation.

The warning means if you do go back, they will arreest you for tresspassing ( not the original theft)

Without taking a lot of time, and going from memory I believe it is one year. But if they were going to press charges they would have at the time it happened, But they will of course do a tresspass charge if you go back, so that is what you want to not do,
