The story is about a nazi who changes his identity when he knows the war is lost and poses as a jew and ends up high up in the isreali army when the nazis contact him again and his son recognizes him from an old film clip because of a personal habit he has of touching his face

No, I think it's the Robert L. Fish book, but thanks
