My fiancé and I had unprotected sex on November 11, I got my inplanon inserted on November 9. According to my period calendar November 8-12 were my most fertile days and I ovulated the 13. Ive missed my period and I took an at home pregnancy test that was negative. Is there anyway I could be pregnant or am I overthinking it, answers and advise would be great!

If you had sex on November 11, it would be to early to test for pregnancy.

Could you be pregnant? Yes. Any time you have sex, even with protection, pregnancy is possible. No form of birth control is 100%, and when you had sex you weren't on any birth control, so there's even a higher chance.

How late is your period?

I've only missed my most recent period, I'm a week late and my periods are always exactly in synch with my period calendar. I thought at first the inplanon stopped my period but most people I've talked to said they either continued to bleed at normal times or bled for long periods. My dr suggested I get the inplanon at the beginning of my period so it would be immediately effective, however I didn't, so she said back up contraception would be need for seven days. I know it might be to soon to start to worry but I just want to know the likely hood of the possibility!

There's a pretty good likelihood.

Wait another week and test using first morning urine. If that test is negative wait until your next period and see if you get it. If you miss it then test again or see your doctor for a blood test.

I have thrown up two consecutive mornings in a row, but I did have brown discharge a week after I was supposed to have my period. Could this be pregnancy or symptoms from my inplanon?

Yes, but again, we can't diagnose pregnancy online, this is really up to you and you alone, you won't find answers on the internet.

Have you taken a pregnancy test?
