My camry will not engage the starter? I coulnt find a starter relay, or maybe I just don't know what relay controls it. The car will start if I turn the key on an touch the small lead on the starter with a 12+ jumper. The battery cranks the car over just fine which makes me think it's a relay, but I can't find it on the car. Is it listed as something else ? Any help will be greatly appreciatted

Sounds like a bad ignition switch, neutral start switch, or wiring. See if this helps:

Relays never fail on these, I'd look elsewhere. Try this, connect the starter wire back up, have shifter in neutral, E-brake on, w/left hand turn key to start, w/right hand wiggle shifter slightly between r&d. This is test for bad neutral safety switch. Common fault on the older ones.
