I am five months pregnant and I recently found out that my husband cheated on me, took all my money, tried to get credit cards under my name, and has had three warrants for his arrest in the past year. I'm 22 and he is 23. I am now living with my folks. They are glad to have me (and the baby when it gets here) live with them till I can get back on my own. Now, the question is, will this stress hurt my baby? My husband keeps going crazy and showing up at my work, my car, and my folks place. Every time I turn around, there he is. I'm trying to keep myself as calm as I can, and still eating right and walking. I'm just trying to make sure that this isn't hurting the baby. I go to my next doctors appt on the 22nd so I will let the doctor know what's going on and get his opinion as well.

Girl, your doing the right thing by trying not to stress yourself out. Think about your baby not that no good man. You also need a restraing order against him.

I have two words for you RESTRAINING ORDER.
This is not good for you or your baby. Many women have stress through out the pregnancy but you are right it is better not to have it and healthier if you do not. Remain calm. Stay with your parents and keep him away because he is only trouble and will probably end up hurting you.

I talked to my folks and a lawyer about the restraning order, they all agree that it would probably set him off to the point where I would get hurt. So instead, I just have a co-worker walk me to my car and don't go anywhere unless I have to.

Yes, I would agree, never go anywhere alone. No matter how small of a trip it may seem. Its important that you stay safe and comfortable, and with this guy hovering, its hard to do. Restraining orders are much good these days I'm afraid. But they do give you a bit more support, should you need to protect yourself against him.(He can't turn around and sue you for protecting yourself, if you have a restraint against him for your protection.)I'm glad that you aren't staying with him, and am trying to have a good life for you and your child. Just trying to have someone with you whenever you go somewhere. Also try to carry a form of protection(tazzer, mace, etc, and always have a cell phone)I hope all works out for you and your baby.
