Hi, a few weeks ago I had a sore throat I looked in the mirror and noticed a bump same color as inside of moath above my tonsil . I poked at it and it did not hurt I looked up pictures on line and could not find anything that looked like it . I decided to give it a few weeks to see if it would go away. Sore Throat went away however bump is still there I check it everyday today I looked and noticed a pimple with a white head on my other tonsil I touched it with a q tip and could not get anything out. It was not there yesturday just showed up over night . I felt around my neck and I can't find any in larged lymph nodes and it is not sore. I can't figure out how to tell if it is a cyst or a tonsil stone however in pics it looks closer to cyst . I'm 31 yrs old I don't drink or smoke I'm female I am obese I weigh 215 and I'm 5'4 . If this is a cyst could it be cancer I'm so scared I never seen any thing like this?

The best advice anyone can give you is to see your doctor about this. There's absolutely no way for anyone online to give you a diagnosis, even if you posted a picture, it would be a best guess.

Please see your doctor.

I really wish we did have some insight. There are so many possibilities with this. It could be a cyst, a growth, an infection, etc. etc. The list is long, and I don't think that seeing a list of possibilities will make you any less scared.

I know you're worried, but really, until you know there's something to worry about, don't worry too much, that won't help.

Get a good night sleep and see your doctor tomorrow.

Good luck. :)
