I have a 1 year old female rottweiler and she is potty trained and whines at the door to go out. We keep her in our basement because of the dog fur and I give her the attention she needs. When I go somewhere she is perfectly fine, but when I come home she pees and occasionally poops. I need help to stop this! If she doesn't stop my parents will get rid of her and I just can't have that happen. Someone PLEASE HELP ME! I called my vet and they said its not a medical problem it's a behavioral problem. She isn't fixed either.

If she only is doing this when you get home, I would say she has a form of separation anxiety, and she just gets excited when you get home. You should be able to find a dog trainer to help you with that.

She's kept in the basement? At all times or only when no one is home?
